My last day on the Power Tour. That four letter word called work is calling my name. We took our own route with Nik Krill riding shotgun, Keith Echols and his killer Pratt & Miller built Camaro and Mike Atkins pushing some serious LS powered Nova metal from DSE.
The legends of the NFL were calling and we made a side trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. A few souvenirs later and we were Norwalk-bound! It was the last chance to soak up the sights, sounds, and race gas smells.
Lots of drag racing, parts shopping at the vendor booths, last laughs and good times before heading back to motor city, Detroit.
My last chances to hang out with new friend Tom Bailey and his fastest street car in America! And swap a few more jokes with Clarence Barnes, Hot Rod Power Tour host.
Could not have packed in more fun and good times with best friends and new ones. Power Tour 2014 kicked ass and can’t wait till next year. Be safe my friends as you finish off the last few days!
