With much anticipation, the show got on the road! We hooked up with some Hot Rod magazine staff and Jim Holloway, Shane Cristman and friends from Mother’s Polish to carve up and cruise through some fantastic mountain roads heading to Knoxville, TN. We turned a lot of heads rolling with a couple of high powered late model Corvettes and Steen’s killer Chevelle rumbling a nicely built 572. Brian Thompson showed us what stealthy cool was all about in his ground pounding, yet family friendly CTS-V wagon.
A quick pit stop can easily turn into a photo shoot with this kind of rolling hardware. Somehow, John Naderi was just as entertaining to shoot as the cool cars???
The destination site delivered a wild variety of automotive eye candy and creative builds. We hooked up with the coolest car chick and Hot Rod magazine writer, Elana Sherr to check out a few interesting rides.
As the day wore on, and our stomachs rumbled, it was time to feed the hunger and hook up with Rutledge Wood from Top Gear and Richard Waitas and friends from Magnaflow for tasty burgers and cool beverages.
